The worst experience I have ever had with a kitchen and cabinet company. I went to their Miami store and worked with a salesperson named Kim. She was very nice during the sales process, and I showed her exactly what I wanted. She kept pushing lower-priced options, but I repeatedly told her that I was not looking for cheap cabinets. I wanted high-quality cabinets, premium countertops, and quality materials. She came to my house and measured everything, and then another person came and measured everything again. Later, I was sent a contract and told that I had to sign it that same day or the price would increase. I expressed my concerns and made it very clear what I wanted. I was assured that everything would be exactly as ordered, so I trusted them and signed the contract over the phone. When the materials started arriving at my house, I realized that almost everything was wrong. The bathroom vanity that was supposed to have double sinks arrived with only one sink, even though Kim personally came to my house, measured the space, and saw the plumbing for two sinks. The bathroom countertop was fiberglass, which I never ordered. I specifically requested the same material as the kitchen countertop. The kitchen sink was also wrong because I ordered a farmhouse sink. On top of that, the measurements were incorrect, causing additional delays and problems. The entire project has been a mess from start to finish. Communication has been poor, and I was treated rudely on the phone when I tried to resolve these issues. My wife and I are extremely disappointed with this company. The service has been disorganized, stressful, and completely unacceptable. All I want is to receive exactly what I ordered—nothing more and nothing less. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
Wendy was amazing during our consultation. She was fun, informative, and I never felt like she was trying to push product on me. It was a great experience at the 17th Ave store. The quote was way better than others I had gotten from big box stores and some others. I’m very glad someone recommended cabinets to go to me.
Less WOW for MORE! Truly a disaster. Do NOT go to this store. I tried to buy a bathroom vanity here. That's it. Just one vanity and they could not even handle that. I can not even imagine what a disaster it would be to try to remodel a whole bathroom or kitchen. This has been a disaster from start to finish. We worked directly with the store manager Kim who could barely get her computer to work to place the order. Turns out she placed the incorrect order so the sink is too large for the vanity. There was no communication with the delivery person and he came to delivery the incorrect parts even though I explained that I do not want them delivered if they are incorrect. I had to escalate this issue to the regional manager. After three months, new parts were shipped to the store (not my house). I am still waiting for them to figure out how to deliver the parts from the store to my house. There is no communication between the store manager and the delivery people. Furthermore, I paid $450 for an installation only for them to tell me they can't find anyone to take the job because the job is "too small." I have then had to fight for a refund (since I was over charged for larger cabinets). This whole thing should have been refunded based on their incompetence. If I could leave them zero stars, I would. Six month update: the Quality of the product is poor at best. Enamel on the sink Is already chipping off. It’s too late for me, but save yourselves.
Presentation was great. Cabinets look great. Then I noticed they had not put in the under the counter waste basket that was promised during the presentation. I contacted the store and they will not honor what was promised. Record your meetings. Go over your quote. Make sure you get everything they are promising. Be careful.
I had the best experience with Robert Ribes at the Miami showroom, buying kitchen cabinets and countertops for my first home ever. He was very knowledgeable, patient and through with the details and design. Delivery was effortless. The installation team Ivonne and Richard were also very through and professional. I’ve work with several large subcontractors and manufactured professionally, but for my own home, I chose Cabinets to Go any day!!!
