I had such a great experience at the store thanks to Peter, who mentioned he just started a couple weeks ago. He was incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I was purchasing several large planters, so it wasn’t a quick or easy task, but he never once made me feel rushed or like I was asking too much. He had such a positive attitude the entire time and was more than willing to help me figure everything out. It’s rare to come across someone with that level of customer service and good energy. You can tell he really cares and takes pride in helping customers. Definitely a great addition to your team!
I recently visited the At Home Superstore in Palm Beach Gardens, and I have to say—it exceeded all expectations. If you're into home décor, organizing, or seasonal decorating, this place is a dream come true. The store is absolutely massive, and the selection is incredible. From furniture and rugs to wall art, kitchen accessories, outdoor décor, and holiday items—there’s something for every taste and style. Whether you're going for modern minimalism, cozy farmhouse, coastal chic, or bold and eclectic, they’ve got it covered. What I really appreciate is the layout. Despite the size, everything is clean, organized, and easy to browse. It's the kind of place where you go in for one thing and end up leaving with a cart full of unexpected finds—but in the best way possible. The prices are also a major plus. Many of the items look like something you'd find at high-end retailers but at a fraction of the cost. I was able to refresh a few rooms in my house without blowing the budget. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions about larger items and in-store stock. You can tell they take pride in keeping the store tidy and making sure customers feel welcome. Whether you're decorating a new space or just love hunting for stylish home accents, At Home in Palm Beach Gardens is definitely worth a visit. It’s one of those places you’ll want to come back to again and again. I hope one day they may expand into Broward County.
I purchased a lighted Merry Christmas sign right after thanksgiving. I didn’t even open the box because it looked too small in purchased a larger one from At Home and it was perfect. I held onto the smaller one thinking I could use it elsewhere. But, I couldn’t so I returned it with a receipt. I was given the sale price instead of a full refund. I was very surprised that a store who caters to home furnishings would have such a restrictive policy. How do you know if what you buy will work within a month. I will not purchase from them again. There are so many other stores that will honor your full payment either with a refund or store credit. Very poor customer service. Instead of a returning customer you lost a whole family of customers. Very poor costumer relations!
Today, 5/17, my mother and I visited At Home to return 3 pots we purchased approximately two weeks ago, fully within the store’s stated return policy. We were also planning to continue shopping and purchase additional planters due to the store’s current BOGO promotion. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine customer service interaction turned into one of the most shocking and humiliating retail experiences we have ever encountered. When we explained to the cashier, Sirica, that we intended to return the items and purchase additional merchandise, she immediately responded with hostility and an attitude, stating, “I don’t think you can do that. I’ll call my manager.” I calmly explained that we were still within the return window and simply intended to make another purchase afterward. At that point, Sirica became increasingly aggressive, raised her voice in front of other customers, and yelled: “You’re going to tell me how to do my job?! I don’t think so, I’m trying to ACCOMMODATE YOU!” I responded respectfully that no one was telling her how to do her job and that honoring a store’s published return policy is not an “accommodation.” Rather than de-escalating the situation, her behavior escalated further. She ordered us off the checkout line and told us to “stand over there” while customers stared at us in embarrassment. When I quietly said, “This is crazy,” Sirica came out from behind the register in an aggressive manner toward both myself and my 65-year-old widowed mother and yelled: “You haven’t seen crazy yet.” At that moment, we genuinely felt threatened and intimidated. No customer should ever be spoken to, humiliated, or approached in that manner by an employee — especially over a standard return transaction that fully complied with store policy. Managers Tiana and Kempton eventually intervened. While Kempton apologized and offered 15% off, a small discount does not adequately address the severity of the situation, the public humiliation we endured, or the threatening and hostile conduct displayed by an employee on your sales floor. This incident reflects an extremely serious failure in professionalism, customer service, and employee conduct. We are longtime shoppers and have never experienced treatment remotely close to this at any retail establishment. Corporate leadership should be aware of how customers are being treated in this location, as no customer — especially elderly customers — should ever leave a store feeling humiliated, threatened, and shaken over a simple return.
Both of the men stocking supplies or managing the store as well as the cashier were fantastic and very helpful! One of the fellows even helped me with picking out an area rug for my house. I'm grateful for their great customer service!
