Michael was fantastic. I had my screen replaced twice with UBreakIFix. First time was for a cracked screen and second time was because there was a screen defect, and they replaced for free. However, right after the 2nd time replacing the screen, my camera was not focusing properly on the regular zoom and everything was blurry. I could only take pics on .6x, 3x or 10x, but not 1x. Couldn't deposit checks or use my cam for any apps. I decided to ask UBreakIFix and UrFon IFix. Ubreak said there may be alcohol stuck in the lens and I'd have to replace the camera for $150. Or I'd have to go back to the original store, which was in california! Called UrFon and spoke to Michael and he said either replacement $119, or possibily something is loose in the phone from the previous repair and he'd charge 25 to fix (w/o replacement). Went to UrFon where Michael performed the whole repair right infront of me and sure enough there was a random screw loose in my phone jamming my camera. His diagnosis was UBreak may have lost a grounding screw and replaced it with the wrong size where it immediately fell out when the backing was put back on and jammed up around my lens. When he was finished, he insisted no charge but I paid him for the 25 he quoted me and 15 tip! Let's normalize supporting smaller, reliable and quality businesses and not these commercialized businesses that fix your valuables behind the counter in the back, misquoting you repair, and even have to end up shipping your phone to someone else to fix! Michael was very careful, gentle, and sterile the entire time and it was a pleasure watching him work. I'll be sending my friends and family his way. Thank you so much UrFon IFix! He is brilliant at what he does, and he has the expertise to evaluate and recommend the best interest of the customer. I cannot recommend him enough from spending time troubleshooting after I went swimming with my phone, providing a loaner phone while he services it, and even turns on Paw Patrol for my girls so we can focus on the issue and entertain them.
