I love this new Target store in downtown Miami. I used to go to the Midtown location, but after this one opened not that long ago, it has become my go-to store for my Target needs. I like a lot how organized and clean this store is. I know it is a new location but putting that aside, it is well stocked and over everything organized. I also appreciate they have a dedicated space separated from the rest of the store where they have the liquors. That’s pretty convenient and you don’t even have to go through the store for this. Parking is also validated. You have to pay parking at the midtown location. All in all, love everything from this location.

This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I requested to speak directly with a manager regarding serious concerns about the condition of the restroom. The manager was radioed multiple times over the walkie system and was clearly aware that a customer was asking to speak with her. Instead of stepping out to address the situation herself, she avoided the interaction and sent another employee to speak on her behalf, claiming she was “busy.” When I observed what she was doing, she was standing near a mop room in the back watching another employee clean. She was not in the middle of an emergency. She was present. She could have stepped away for two minutes to acknowledge a customer concern. Choosing not to do so was dismissive and unprofessional. If that same level of attention and effort can be given to overseeing the cleaning of a mop room, then that same level of effort should be applied to maintaining the customer restrooms especially when there is a posted requirement for hourly checks. The restroom conditions were unacceptable. There was no toilet paper available. The floors were visibly dirty. Hair and debris were scattered throughout. The posted cleaning log clearly states restrooms are to be checked every hour, yet the sheet displayed was outdated and not properly completed. When I raised these concerns, staff argued and insisted the restroom had already been checked. The visible condition of the bathroom did not support that claim. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was met with defensiveness and dismissal. Customers should not have to argue about whether basic cleanliness standards are being met. If hourly checks are required, they should be happening consistently and documented accurately. Between management avoiding direct communication, choosing to observe cleaning tasks rather than address a waiting customer, and staff disputing obvious concerns, the lack of accountability at this location is deeply concerning. I expect better from Target.

The workers are very nice, and the store itself is fine. However, they are now locking up even the smallest items, which made me feel sick to my stomach. I noticed that employees have to work three times as hard because customers cannot access certain items until a worker brings them to the register. I have never experienced this at any other Target, and it seems like a policy influenced by the neighborhood’s racial or income demographics. It took much longer than usual to purchase my items, and this experience has made me NEVER want to shop at Target again.

I generally enjoy shopping at the Target, located at 249 NW 6th St, Miami, FL 33136. The store itself is well-organized, clean, and offers a good selection of products. However, the parking situation is unacceptable and has completely changed my willingness to return to this location. The parking lot, operated by Professional Parking Management, is anything but professional. The entry bar and ticket machines often do not work, the payment kiosks are frequently shut down, and there is no clear or reliable way to complete payment on-site. Despite these ongoing issues, weeks later, you receive a parking ticket for $85.00, which is both unfair and frustrating. It is extremely disappointing that an otherwise good store is impacted by such poor parking management. Until these issues are resolved, I will not be coming back to this location. It is truly a shame that the experience is overshadowed by the parking operator’s lack of professionalism.
